Great place

Not surprise that they got 5 stars. they had a highest star in the area thats why I tried it was a great atmosphere with wonderful hospitality. they had free puff bread and Turkish tea with Turkish delight they were all served for free and cant even talk about how taste food was. I didn’t know what to eat thats why end up getting mixed Kebab and everything was good. strongly recommend it.

Such a beautiful place! I came because it was a zabiha restaurant originally and it is Ramadan but it definitely surpassed my expectations. I enjoyed the food. I ordered the fettuccine creamy beef and it was a 10/10. My friend ordered a burger and fries and enjoyed it as well. The portion vs food was well worth it in my opinion. Both of our dishes were about 60$ including tip.

The ambiance was nice as well, new families with their baby were amongst us. As well as, friends and groupings of relatives. I would definitely return here and try the rest of the menu.

Parking was a challenge but we found street parking thank god!

Second time at Lumi, and it was just as amazing—the chicken shish kabob was incredible. My friends and I had been counting down the days, and it didn’t disappoint. Everything’s halal, there’s even a prayer space upstairs, and our waiter Rebecca was the sweetest. This place is definitely a new favorite!

Great addition to downtown Minneapolis for foodies

Our meals were fabulous. We stuck with Turkish cuisine, and highly recommend everything we ate. Our main courses were Adana Kebab and Chicken Hunkar Begendi – both were delicious! The starter was a vegetarian spread with red peppers and walnuts served with a gorgeous puffed pita. It was also terrific! The service was excellent, and the venue is spacious and inviting. The restaurant is steps from the Dakota, so a perfect coupling of two great places for the evening.

Delicious Mediterranean cuisine and great service!

Excellent food, drinks and service. I had the Turkish Chicken Hünkar Beğendi and my guest had the beef kebob. We started with a Greek salad and they give you all you can eat Turkish bread with a spicy tomato spread. At the end of the meal they served us Turkish tea. I will definitely go back!

Unusual Flavors

This restaurant, which I came across by chance, was a unique experience for me with its delicious food, heartwarming decor and atmosphere, menus suitable for every budget, and friendly and caring staff. I will try to taste everything on the menu during my holiday. The taste of baklava is still on my palate. Thank you for your attention ☺️

What a great surprise!

It is time for dinner and I am walking in this street looking for a great place to have dinner. I found this place, probably this unique place in Minneapolis with a “nearly” pedestrian street, very large sidewalks where restaurants have installed their outdoor. I finally selected a restaurant named LUMI and that was the right thing to do this evening. Let’s start with the food. They serve Turkish food from starter to dessert. All a sudden you forget Minneapolis and the US, you are in Turkey. So good !! Then you have the vibe with a great outdoor atmosphere and lovely music. And finally you have the service, lucky me Ribika took care of me and she was just amazing. To conclude, this is one of those evening that you remember and mine was at LUMI. I strongly recommend!!!

The food is so flavorful and fresh. The prices are fair and one gets every dollars worth in both quantity and quality. We also received top notch service. Highly recommend!!

Amazing dinner

We had an amazing dinner and date night! Everything we ordered was delicious. For appetizers, the grilled cheese with honey is phenomenal, as is the feta dip- can’t remember what it’s called. We got lots of different kebabs off the Turkish section of the menu for three main course. You can’t go wrong there. Topped it off with the best baklava imported from Turkey. Our waitress was super helpful, overall great service.
